The Vikings in Denmark
The Crofton Vikings traveled to Denmark in July to play in the DanaCup tournament. It was a once in a lifetime experience for the boys, coaches and parents.
Nearly 800 teams from 48 countries attended the DanaCup and the boys had a chance to play teams from Germany, Norway, Sweden and the Phillipines and to meet many other players from around the world.

Crofton Soccer Tryouts and Placements
Girls and boys are are invited to attend the 2009-2010 soccer tryouts/placements for select and county teams.
Boys Premier -National Capital Soccer League (NCSL)
Girls Premier –Washington Area Girls Soccer (WAGS)
Boys and Girls Classic -Baltimore Beltway Soccer League (BBSL)
County –Anne Arundel Youth Soccer Association (AAYSA)
Tryouts will held at Bell Branch, off Rte. 424
Everyone is welcome. All will be placed on a team according to ability.

These are just some of the statements made by players on the Crofton Vikings, a select soccer team comprised of local players aged twelve and younger.
The team participates in regular season games in the National Capital Soccer League and many tournaments and training camps through out the year.
One big goal for the team is a European tour in the summer of 2009, where they anticipate participating in the Dana Cup Youth Soccer tournament, an annual event in Denmark that attracts over 40,000 spectators and teams from around the world.
